Sealife can provoke serious poisoning accident and burn. To understand the nature of these animals, health students and medicine experts at Caraguatatuba, São Paulo, Brazil started telling stories (with a child understanding language) at schools on how to prevent, first aid technique and treatment. This program is called PROJETO CARAVELA.

Argentine player accused of racism released from jail

SAO PAULO, Brazil (AP) - An Argentine player who was arrested after a soccer match on charges of using racial slurs was released from jail on Friday after paying bail of 10,000 reals (US$4,000, €3,120). Leandro Desabato, of Argentine club Quilmes, spent nearly 40 hours in a Sao Paulo jail following Wednesday's incident, and will be allowed to return to Argentina after signing a legal document committing himself to return to Brazil during all legal proceedings, court spokeswoman Cecilia Abati said. Desabato was expected to sign the document on Friday afternoon, authorities said. He could face a three-year prison term if he is found guilty of insulting Sao Paulo striker Grafite during Sao Paulo's 3-1 victory on Wednesday in the Copa Libertadores. It was the first time in Brazil that a player was escorted off the field by police after a soccer match and arrested because of racial insults, authorities said. The entire Quilmes team, which was scheduled to return to Argentina on Thursday morning, was still in Brazil waiting for Desabato. The defender was required to undergo a medical exam after being released to show that he was not maltreated by Brazilian police while in custody. Desabato was expected to be suspended by the South American Soccer Confederation (CONMEBOL) because of his attitude on the field."We cannot admit racism in soccer,"
CONMEBOL president Nicolas Leoz told reporters after visiting Desabato in jail."There is no doubt he will be severely punished."
Leoz said Desabato could be suspended for the rest of this year's Copa Libertadores depending on what Uruguayan referee Martin Vazquez says in his match report. Quilmes, third in Group 3, has two games left in the group stage - against The Strongest on April 28 and Universidad de Chile on May 11. Desabato was arrested after the insults against Grafite were caught by television cameras. Grafite - who is black - made a formal complaint after the match and said he would not withdraw it. Several Brazilian players - including stars Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos - have been subjected to racist insults in Europe in recent months. Grafite previously said that he was subjected to racism during Sao Paulo's first encounter with Quilmes in Argentina last month, prompting Quilmes' directors to send a letter of apology to Sao Paulo. On Wednesday, Desabato and Grafite got into an altercation in the 44th minute after a heated dispute at Morumbi stadium. Grafite pushed Desabato after allegedly being insulted, and was ejected by Vazquez. Desabato was not sent off.
